Expeditionary Culture Field Guides Published Sept. 10, 2018 Cultural knowledge at your fingertips! All ECFGs are now available in our mobile app! The Expeditionary Culture Field Guides (ECFGs) are pocket-size handbooks packed with invaluable cultural information. The guides are designed to help US forces achieve mission success in culturally complex environments. Each guide complements other training media, such as online training and hands-on instruction. The ECFGs use the USAF model for achieving cross-cultural competency (3C). This model encompasses 12 cultural domains that account for every aspect of a society's cultural identity. Choose a country.
