LEAP Spotlight: 2nd Lt Katherine Scheibner Published June 25, 2020 By AFCLC Outreach Team MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- Meet the Air Force Culture and Language Center’s (AFCLC) first United States Space Force (USSF) scholar 2nd Lieutenant Katherine Scheibner. 2nd Lt Scheibner is a Language Enabled Airman scholar (LEAP) out of the United States Air Force Academy (AFSC 171DI Cyberspace Operations Officer) and will begin her first eMentor online language course in Chinese (Mandarin) 6 June. This is a historic moment for AFCLC as this is our first time providing LEAP training to a member of another branch of the U.S. military. AFCLC looks forward to greeting more USSF LEAP scholars in the future!
