In this paper, the author argues that the use of Remotely Piloted Aircraft in Korea will help the US-ROK alliance and enhance deterrence against North Korea. The author uses three case studies in this argument: one from World War II, one from the Global War on Terror, and the last from the Korean peninsula, outlining the value of combined deterrence efforts on the part of the United States and the Republic of Korea.
