These courses are designed to develop competencies required to enhance employees’ performance through use of coaching skills. These courses provide an introductory overview of Performance Coaching as it relates to the implementation of a Performance Management Program (e.g. DPMAP). Preparatory coaching concepts will be explored throughout the portfolio offerings, along with real-world Dept of the Air Force examples relating to the employee performance management process. The students will learn how to identify coaching philosophy and competencies necessary for improving performance planning, goals, and outcomes. NOTE: When combined with the Leadership Development offerings, these courses provide a solid foundation of supervisory skills and civilian personnel management fundamentals. Recommended they be part of the deliberate development of all pre-leaders/supervisors.
