Emerging Leader Course (ELC) |
Emerging Leader
Throughput: Up to 2K annually Target Population: All Civilian Employees seeking leadership abilities Length: 32 hrs
Description: Designed to develop interpersonal communication and leadership skills for Air Force civilians pursuing future leadership roles. This course builds on AF institutional competencies and enables transition from being a follower to a leader. This course will be a prereq to attend in-res Developing Team Leader course.
Developing Team Leader
Throughput: Up to 182 annually Target Population: All Civilian Employees Length: 135 hrs
Description: Provides the knowledge and skills of a developing team leader. This blended course takes advantage of instructor-led, computer-based instruction and incorporates a unique in-residence, experiential week of intensive organizational leader instruction. The course concludes with a capstone presentation that takes place at each student’s home station.
