The Defense Language and National Security Education Office (DLNSEO) has invited AFROTC cadets to participate in the 2024 Project Global Officer (GO) summer language programs. Project GO provides opportunities for ROTC cadets and midshipmen to engage in intensive language instruction and cultural immersion primarily in summer programs conducted in the U.S. and overseas in strategic languages.
The application window opened on 2 Oct. For study abroad programs, applications close 18 Jan 24 and for domestic programs, applications close 27 Feb 24. Programs are open to all cadets, but AS200s are not recommended for study abroad due to field training. (Field Training takes priority!) Soon-to-be newly commissioned Lieutenants awaiting active duty are not eligible for study abroad programs but can apply for domestic opportunities.
