International Officer School - Chief, International Programs Locations: Maxwell AFB, AL 36112-6426 Tour Length: 3 years Description: Reports to the Air University International Affairs Director (AU/IA)/Commandant, International Officer School (IOS/CC). Develops and oversees AU’s International Affairs engagement and outreach programs to include the Chief of Staff’s International Honor Roll which recognizes over 500 senior international leaders from 99 countries. Oversees the planning, coordination of security cooperation objectives, and execution of Air University’s most senior international distinguished visitors. Assists with the execution of Air University’s Foreign Disclosure Program. Develops and oversees Air University’s International affairs communications plan. Eligibility: Senior Captain [USAF only] with excellent communication and organizational skills. Applicants will represent the U.S. to hundreds of senior international officers and must exemplify USAF military bearing and appearance standards and have an outstanding military record. Security cooperation and international/cross cultural experience is desired.
