5 CCG hosts Combat Communications Rodeo
ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – The 5th Combat Communications Group, 254th Combat Communications Group, 226th Combat Communications Group, and the 1st Combat Communications Squadron, gather for a group photo with leaders from across to cyber spectrum, including Maj. Gen. Kevin Kennedy, Director, Cyberspace Strategy and Policy, Office of Information Dominance with the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, and Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Newton, Director of the Joint Staff for the Alabama National Guard, during the 5 CCG Combat Communications Rodeo, March 7, 2019, at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The rodeo is an event where various combat communications units train and execute various skills such as installation and sustainment of tactical communications systems, tent set-ups, team tactics, camouflaging equipment, and other skills needed to be mission ready.
