JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- Biomedical equipment technicians ensure medical equipment is serviceable, safe and properly configured to meet the 59th Medical Wing’s mission of developing warrior medics through patient-centered health care.

As part of the 59th Medical Logistics and Readiness Squadron, the biomedical equipment technician shop comprises different teams, which are responsible for scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, initial inspections, contracting services, information technology, quality assurance and technical assessment. The one-stop shop keeps the wing’s mission moving.
