The theme for this year is “Keeping a Decisive Edge” and the goal of the event is to educate and provide the acquisition workforce an opportunity to interface with senior Department of Defense and Air Force acquisition leaders.
Attendees will earn 12 continuous learning points as they hear presentations from senior Department of Defense and Air Force leaders and participate in breakout sessions taught by experts on more than 40 different acquisition, technology and logistics topics.
So far, the guest speaker lineup includes, Gen. Ellen Pawlikowski, commander of the Air Force Materiel Command, Sue C. Payton, president, SCI Aerospace, Inc., former assistant secretary of the Air Force for acquisition and former Deputy Under Secretary of Defense, Kathryn J. Sowers, director of Financial Management and Comptroller for AFLCMC, Jennifer Santos, U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee staff member and Paul Lemmo, vice president of Fire Control and Special Operations Forces Contractor Logistics Support Services for Lockheed Martin.
Seating is limited to the first 700 registrants at Wright-Patterson AFB. The training will be streamed to Eglin AFB, Gunter Annex, Hanscom AFB, Hill AFB, Kirtland AFB, Lackland AFB, Offutt AFB, Peterson AFB, Robins AFB and Tinker AFB. Specific viewing locations will be identified for each base when you register for the training.
Registration of military and government civilian personnel begins May 1 and ends May 31.
