MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- Air University Press announces the publication of the latest in the Air Command and Staff College Wright Flyer Paper series, Cognitive Radio Cloud Networks: Assured Access in the Future Electromagnetic Operating Environment.
Maj. Lawrence O. Jones, U.S. Marine Corps, explores cognitive radio cloud networks, or CRCN, as a solution to mitigate the growing problem of DOD access to the electromagnetic spectrum due to a heavily congested and contested environment. The collision between technological advances in software-defined radios, machine learning and cloud computing have created the opportunity to tap into the new paradigm of CRCN.
