Have you ever had questions about services, retiree benefits, or general inquiries regarding military retiree issues? The Maxwell Retiree Activities Office can help find answers to your questions.

The 42nd Air Base Wing RAO is here to provide information, services, and programs to military retirees and their families regardless of rank or service.

The RAO is volunteer-based and staffed by Air Force retiree Elijah Jackson. Because of his military experience, he offers military retirees a wide range of information resources and can refer people to the appropriate organization for help.

“Our mission allows us to serve as a liaison between the active duty and retired communities. The responsibilities include keeping the Central Alabama area retirees updated on matters related to their status as military retirees,” said Arlyne Rzepecki, Military and Family Readiness Center flight chief.  “We provide information and services as necessary or appropriate while representing retired military members at the base and Air Force level.”

For the latest retiree news updates, visit the retiree services website at www.retirees.af.mil. This site also has valuable information regarding important topics such as Survivor Benefit Plan, retiree resources, and the Afterburner archive from 2001-2022.

The RAO is in the Military and Family Readiness Center at 55 S. Mitchell Street on Maxwell (Bldg. 677) or contact the office at (334) 953-6725.
