42nd Medical Group receives flu vaccine Published Nov. 13, 2009 By 42nd Medical Group MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- The 42nd Medical Group has received a new shipment of seasonal flu vaccine. All active duty and family members still requiring a flu shot should come to the Immunizations Clinic as soon as possible to receive the vaccine while supplies last. TRICARE Prime and TRICARE Standard beneficiaries may continue to obtain seasonal flu vaccinations at any PriMed or American Family Care facility; however, beneficiaries should call first to confirm availability of the vaccine. Beneficiaries who do not receive flu shots from the 42nd MDG should bring documentation of their vaccination to the 42nd MDG Immunizations Clinic in order to update their personal immunizations record. A limited supply of flu vaccine will be available at the Retiree Appreciation Day event on Nov. 20.
