Legislature honors Brig. Gen. Crowell
Brig. Gen. Edward F. Crowell (second from right) was honored March 12 by a joint resolution from both houses of the Alabama Legislature. The resolution honored General Crowell for his Reserve military service career that began as an Airman Basic in the 908th Airlift Wing located at Maxwell. Leaving the 908th as a colonel after 23 years, General Crowell served at two numbered Air Forces before returning to Maxwell as the mobilization assistant to the Air University commander.
