Media are invited to cover aerial demonstrations/static aircraft displays and interview organizers/guests during the 57th National Security Forum at Air University on May 19. The NSF is sponsored by the Secretary of the Air Force and hosted by Air War College.

Media Opportunity: May 19, 9:30-11:30 a.m. (times subject to slight changes)
Media can capture the aerial demonstration event for NSF and interview NSF organizers and guests. Media availabilities with Air War College commandant Maj. Gen. Robert C. Kane and NSF spokespersons and civilian participants will be at 10:30 a.m. The aerial demonstrations are from about 9:30-10:30 a.m. Some of the aircraft scheduled for the demonstrations include fly-overs by B-1 and B-2 bombers; aerial demonstrations by A-10 and F-16 aircraft; and a heritage flight demonstration by an F-4. Planned static displays include F-16, C-130, F-15, F-22 and KC-135 aircraft among many others.

The purpose of the NSF is to expose influential citizens from across the United States to senior U.S. and international officers and civilian equivalents in order to engage each other's ideas and perspectives on Air Force, national and international security issues.

During the week of May 17-21, approximately 120 civilian leaders in business, education and government from all over the U.S. will meet with senior military leaders to explore current and future national security issues facing our nation. The NSF provides a great opportunity for an open and candid exchange of ideas among these guests, senior military and civilian leaders, and our Air War College students.

Air War College is the senior professional development school in the Air Force officer education system as a part of Air University. It educates selected senior officers to lead at the strategic level in the employment of air and space forces.
