Maxwell Elementary to dedicate bench to fallen student Published May 5, 2010 By 010510 MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- Media is invited to attend a bench dedication ceremony at Maxwell Elementary School here May 7 at 2:15 p.m. The dedication ceremony will honor Alexis Butler, who drowned April 3 in a swimming pool. The 10-year-old student had been selected in January to receive a canine assistant to help her cope with cerebral palsy.
