"This air show was a great success for Maxwell Air Force Base and the entire River Region," said Col. Kris Beasley, 42nd Air Base Wing commander. "We were honored to help celebrate 100 years of flight in Alabama and glad that so many River Region citizens were able to meet and interact with our Airmen -- the finest in the world. We're very proud of all the base personnel who worked so hard to make this such a memorable event, and we appreciate the tremendous community support which helped make the air show possible."
