Geoffrey Gibbs 42nd Air Base Wing Safety Office MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Al -- Thanksgiving is coming, and with its arrival begins the holiday season and all that it has to offer -- travel, decorations, parties, cold, possibly even some snow and ice ... oh, and even more travel. Throughout the holiday season, expect commanders and unit safety representatives to discuss various safety topics. The intent is to help you identify potential safety concerns or threats you can avoid so you can focus on and enjoy the holiday season. The topics will range from dealing with holiday stress, complacency, winter or holiday driving, to responsible drinking. Each of you deserves the opportunity to properly relax and enjoy time with friends and family during the holidays. Take time to make the right decisions, use the right precautions and plan so you can enjoy many more holidays to come. Happy holidays!
