It is the time of year when we all travel to change of command ceremonies, welcome newly PCS'd individuals to our squadron, and say farewell to those leaving.

With all the personnel changes occurring, it is a good time to review Maxwell's and Gunter's base entry procedures.

Maxwell Air Force Base is currently in Force Protection Condition Bravo which requires 100% ID checks.  Either the driver or sponsor of the vehicle must possess proper access credentials to enter the base.  Valid sponsors may escort up to six individuals in the vehicle with them without going to the Visitors Center to obtain a pass.  However, all escorted individuals must present a state or federally issued photo identification card (such as a driver's license or passport) to verify their identity.

Those under the age of 16 do not require photo identification if accompanied by a valid sponsor. If unable to provide proper credentials, individuals will be directed to the Visitors Center located outside the Maxwell main gate to obtain a pass.

Note:  For Foreign guests please contact the Visitor Center for specific guidance.
