During their visit to the Philippines to meet with senior officials from the Philippine Air Force, the command team toured the cemetery and laid a wreath in honor of fallen service members in the Pacific. The Manila American Cemetery is the largest all-American cemetery overseas, serving as the final resting place for more than 17,000 American service members who fought in campaigns across the Pacific, including World War II. Twenty-nine Medal of Honor recipients are interred there alongside their fellow service members. The visit highlighted PACAF’s valued partnership with the Philippines, reaffirming a longstanding commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
