Jacob Middleton, commander of U.S. Space Forces Europe and Space Forces Africa and Chief Master Sgt. Alex Birkle, SPACEFOREUR-AF command senior enlisted leader, visited Helsinki, Finland on Feb. 4, 2025. The visit was hosted by the Finnish Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Timo Herranen. During the trip, Middleton received an overview of Finnish Air Force activities and their relevance to space operations. Both parties look forward to continuing the dialogue about future space opportunities.
