Bombers Directorate to host Small Business Summit Published Feb. 13, 2025 By Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Public Affairs WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Bombers Directorate will host its first Small Business Summit Feb. 20-21 at Rose State College in Midwest City, Okla. The event will feature guest speakers, panel discussions and updates on opportunities for small businesses to provide sustainment support to the Air Force’s bomber fleet. In addition, small business professionals will have the opportunity to network with Air Force experts that are responsible for sustaining and modernizing B-1s, B-2s and B-52s. “We have a number of parts and supportability challenges, and in order to resolve them we need to find innovative and creative solutions,” said Lt. Col. David Hanisch, Materiel Leader for the directorate’s B-2 Division’s Sustainment Branch. “I believe that small businesses can provide the solutions we need. If you think about the importance of quickly fielding parts in a time of war, small businesses are going to be critical to that, and events like this summit help ensure we have mechanisms in place to engage and work together.” For more information and to register for the event visit: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bomber-directorate-small-business-summit-tickets-1155017160419?aff=oddtdtcreator
