Gen. Paul Moga and Command Chief Master Sgt. Stephanie Cates, recently traveled to USAG Sembach to meet with Army & Air Force Exchange Service for the Europe/Africa/Southwest Asia Region Senior Vice President, Ms. Stephanie Burns, and Senior Enlisted Advisor, Sgt. Maj. Ashley N. Ikegwuonu, March 26, 2025. Ms. Michelle Weisshaar, Regional Vice President Europe Region for the Exchange, also attended. The five leaders conducted a bi-annual office call in which they spoke about how the Department of Defense retailer is supporting Airmen and families overseas. Topics included the Exchange’s emphasis on improving service members’ readiness and lethality by providing convenient and healthy food options near isolated workspaces and by shipping uniforms to members at remote duty locations. 100% of Exchange earnings are reinvested in the military community through funding for critical Quality-of-Life programs, as well as capital improvements. Recent Quality-of-Life initiatives discussed at the meeting include You Made the Grade to reward high-performing dependent students, free first-run movie screenings for base communities, and a DoD-first online ticketing system at the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center (KMCC) movie theater at Ramstein with plans to expand the program throughout Europe.
