SYNERGY ARC Conference Leverages Multilateral Partner Cooperation Published April 5, 2025 By John Reeves Pacific Air Forces Public Affairs JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii -- The Pacific Integrated Air and Missile Defense Center (PIC) hosted and facilitated the 2025 SYNERGY ARC Concept Development Conference at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, Apr. 1-3, 2025. SYNERGY ARC is the third event hosted by the PIC that brings together like-minded Indo-Pacific partners to play out a simulated missile threat scenario. The event leverages the previously learned experiences from the annual Multilateral Subject Matter Expert Exchange (MSMEE) and Defense Design Workshop (DDW) held in El Paso, Texas. Attendees included representatives from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, Royal Netherlands Army, Japan Air Self-Defense Force, and the Australian Army. This multinational, eight-person team developed plans to demonstrate opportunities for regional cross-domain coordination and integration within Air Domain Awareness (ADA) and missile defense operations. The SYNERGY ARC event is one of several efforts to capitalize on the interoperability of allied and partner forces throughout the Indo-Pacific, with the aim of continuously improving our collective strengths to defend against aggression, and to maintain regional stability.
