Base exercise simulates active shooter threat
Capt. Nathan Brown, deputy chief of training, Officer Training School, plays the role of the active shooter during this week's exercise. The exercise assessed the ability of base personnel and emergency response teams to react to reports of a gunman on the installation. Maxwell and Gunter hold periodic exercises to ensure base personnel are prepared to respond to an assortment of challenges, including natural disasters, accidents and other emergencies.
