The C-130 Training Simulator arrives at Gate 19B after completed the long trip from Brooks City-Base in San Antonio, Texas. The simulator will be used to train Air Force medical professionals on transporting and treating patients on aircraft. Historically, this training was conducted by the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine at Brooks. However, the USAFSAM relocated to Wright-Patterson as a result of the BRAC 2005 decision.
