The USAF School of Aerospace Medicine celebrated its transition to Wright-Patterson AFB, OH on Thursday Feb. 17th at Brooks City-Base in San Antonio, TX. The Deputy Surgeon General of the AF, Major General Tom Travis, spoke about the personal attachment that he has to USAFSAM and Brooks City-Base and the importance of the mission during the school’s transition to Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. USAFSAM is relocating from Brooks City-Base in San Antonio, Texas, to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as part of the nation’s 2005 base realignment and closure decisions.
