Maxwell Elementary ‘marches away from drugs’
As part of the national Red Ribbon Week, students from Maxwell Elementary School “marched away from drugs” with a parade down Maxwell’s Magnolia Street to the base arboretum Monday. At the arboretum, the students placed red ribbons around the trees and pledged to stay drug free. Normally held the last week in October, Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign for drug prevention.
