Brig. Gen. Anthony J. Rock, new commandant of the Spaatz Center’s Air Command and Staff College, welcomes his first class Aug. 5. ACSC is the Air Force intermediate professional military education school and prepares field grade officers of all services, international officers and U.S. civilians for positions of higher responsibility. This year’s class has a total of 510 students with 313 from the Air Force and 85 from sister services. There are also 24 air reserve component officers, 11 civilians and 77 international officers.
