Wet and Wild
During heavy rains that caused flooding to Maxwell and Gunter May 7, two vehicles stalled at the corner of Ash Street and LeMay Plaza at Maxwell while a larger pickup truck forges ahead through the intersection. Base weather station personnel reported Maxwell received 3.92 inches of rain during the storm. They said the thunderstorm resulted in the worst flooding to the base since Tropical Storm Ivan came through the area in 2004. (U.S. Air Force photo/Carl Bergquist)
