Assumption of Command

Maj. Gen. Maurice Forsyth, Air War College commandant and Spaatz Center commander, and Col. Michael Homan, International Officer School commandant, roll the Spaatz Center-IOS flag during the school’s assumption of command ceremony at the Air University Academic Facility auditorium May 8. Assisting them was Tech. Sgt. Hortencia Crutcher of IOS. The ceremony marked IOS becoming an independent school under Spaatz Center, as opposed to falling under the center’s Educational Support Squadron.
