Widow receives husband's Distinguished Flying Cross for WWII

World War II memories of Capt. William Norred were on display during a ceremony Monday in Greenville, Ala., where his widow was presented the Distinguished Flying Cross he earned in WWII flying a combat mission in a B-26 Marauder in Africa. Mrs. Norred said her husband may have been pleased with the ceremony as well as a little embarrassed. (Air Force photo by Carl Bergquist)
