Maxwell ACSC instructor accepts DoD award

Lt. Col. Brian Beckno, an Army instructor at Air University’s Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, accepts the 2014 Secretary of Defense Award for Excellence in Maintenance Training, Advice and Assistance of Foreign Security Forces (Ministerial Category) on behalf of the men and women he led as commander of 2nd Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, or Task Force Catamount. Task Force Catamount earned the award for their work with the Afghan National Army’s 4th Brigade, 203rd Corps last year. (Air Force Photo by Master Sgt.
