2016 Gathering of Eagles
Dawn Seymour, 2016 Gathering of Eagles honoree, speaks about her time as a member of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), during the Air Command and Staff College’s 2016 Gathering of Eagles event, June 1, 2016, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. During her service in WASP, Seymour flew over 700 hours in the B-17 and trained gunners for the D-Day invasion and duty in the Pacific Theater. She was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in 2010.
