Special Operations flight surgeon earns second set of wings
Capt. Matt Stein, 80th Flying Training Wing Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals student pilot, graduated from the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training program at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, Aug. 12, 2016. Stein is a former Special Operations Forces Medical Flight Element flight surgeon and served with the 1st Special Operations Wing, Hurlburt Field, Florida. After his nine-week Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals course at ENJJPT, Stein will report to Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, for his F-16 follow-on course—also known as ‘B’ Course.
