Maxwell Green Dot Program
The Green Dot program is a public health approach to violence prevention that has been adopted by the United States Air Force as a five-year strategy to decrease incidence of power based interpersonal violence and violence prevention across the service. The Green Dot concepts are evidence based concepts of prevention leading to a significant reduction of incidence of violence with everyone playing a role in violence prevention. Research has shown that after attending Green Dot training, as compared to those who did not attend Green Dot trainings, Sexual violence perpetration declined 50% and victimization by 36%.
