U.S. supports Romanian air force in first-ever KC-135 refueling mission
A Romanian Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon makes contact with a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker for the first time Feb. 28, 2017, during air refueling training over Bucharest, Romania. With the help of the U.S. Air Force’s 100th Air Refueling Wing and one of their Stratotankers, the Romanian Air Force became certified to refuel from all U.S. KC-135s, strengthening partnerships and regional stability.
