AETC Airmen depart JBSA-Lackland in support of Hurricane Harvey

Tech. Sgt. Lloyd Brock, Air Force Medical Operations Agency, matches paperwork to pallets loaded with medical supplies and equipment Aug. 30, 2017, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Airmen from Air Education and Training Command departed Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland’s Kelly Field Annex Aug. 30, 2017, in support of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. The teams, composed of Airmen from Joint Base San Antonio, Texas; Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi; and Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma, are part of Critical Care Air Transport Teams en route to provide medical support in Houston. The CCAT is designed to support combat casualties being evacuated from the combat zone and also supports humanitarian assistance efforts during peacetime.
