US, Nepal team up for disaster response training
U.S. Air Force air advisors assigned to the 36th Contingency Response Group at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, practice forklift operations with members of the Nepalese Army, Nepal Police, Nepal Armed Police Force, Nepal Airlines and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Aug. 22, 2017, at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. The exchange focused on sharing ideas and techniques about cargo warehouse management, supply distribution, vehicle maintenance, forklift operations, first responder medical care and patient transport in the event of a disaster.
