Top doc checks up on Keesler Medical Center
Blaise Provitola, Intuitive Surgical Inc. area sales manager, guides Lt. Gen. Mark Ediger, Air Force Surgeon General, as he operates a da Vinci surgical system, which is used for robotics surgeries, during a visit to the clinical research laboratory Oct. 17, 2017, on Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. The purpose of Ediger’s visit was to get familiar with the 81st Medical Group’s mission, operations and personnel. During his tour, he visited more than 10 different units in the 81st MDG to include mammography, emergency department, radiology and oncology, genetics and the clinical research laboratory.
