World War II POW survivor shares tale of hope, determination, resilience

William Callaway, 8th Air Force historian, holds an Imperial Japanese Army prisoner of war identification card belonging to Lloyd Ponder, a World War II veteran, who was held as a POW by the Japanese army. Ponder has shared his story with the local community in hopes that people today will learn valuable lessons about what individuals endured during the war.
