AFCLC professor hopes to return ‘good luck flag’
The ‘good luck flag’ was a national flag with handwritten notes by the families of Japanese service members before going into battle during WWII. The flag depicted was given to Jessica Jordan, assistant professor of Regional and Cultural Studies (Asia) at the Air Force Culture and Language Center, by her aunt when Jordan was an undergraduate student studying Japanese culture and language.
