Servicemembers help Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria
Jacksonville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Deputy Commander for the Antilles, Maj. Alexander Walker-Rodriguez, met with Jacksonville District Deputy Commander, Maj. Joseph Sahl (left) and Task Force Puerto Rico Recovery Commander Lt. Col. Scott Snyder (right) and teammates to provide an overview of ongoing work at Guajataca Dam on June 21, 2018. USACE is mission assigned by FEMA, at the request of PREPA, for spillway stabilization, waterline reconnection, channel reinforcement and stabilization work at the slope and spillway, and water gates repairs.
