42nd CES to save base millions of kWh/year with LED light upgrades
Roger Weaver, a civilian electrician, installs LED lights in the Muir S. Fairchild Research Institute Jan. 9, 2019, on Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. The 42nd Civil Engineer Squadron currently has four energy savings projects in progress for LED light retrofits on Maxwell and Gunter, involving approximately 6,000 fixtures and $1.9 million invested.
