5 CCG hosts Combat Communications Rodeo

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – Staff Sgt. Shawn-Michael Dixon and Staff Sgt. Joshua Werho, both Radio Frequency technicians from the 55th Combat Communications Squadron with Air Force Reserve Command, and Airman 1st Class Logan Steinhart, an RF technician with the 282d Combat Communications Squadron with the Rhode Island Air National Guard, work together to set up a tactical satellite radio during the Combat Communications Rodeo, hosted by the 5th Combat Communications Group at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, March 12, 2019. The rodeo is an event where combat communications units train and execute various skills such as installation and sustainment of tactical communications systems, tent set-ups, team tactics, camouflaging equipment, and other skills needed to be mission ready.
