23rd Flying Training Squadron revolutionizes the way pilots are trained
23rd Flying Training Squadron student pilots use a flight simulator in conjunction with their actual flight training, Oct. 22, 2019, Ft. Rucker, Alabama. The 23rd FTS has 28 helicopters available to train student pilots at any given time; however, with the use of virtual reality, students can train without an instructor in the seat next to them.
