Charles Michaels, Air University’s International Officer School assistant international military student officer, received the 2019 Air Force International Affairs Excellence Award (Civilian Category II). His work puts him in direct contact with hundreds of international military students and their families every year, familiarizing them to Air University schools and American society, ideals and institutions.
