Maxwell AFB, Ala. - President Joe Biden visited a Lockheed Martin Facility that manufactures anti-tank missiles in Troy, Alabama, on May 3, 2022, using Maxwell Air Force Base for arrival and departure. The Biden Administration is providing additional security assistance to support Ukraine which includes the Troy-built Javelin anti-tank missiles. Congresswoman Terri Sewell, Montgomery Mayer Stephen Reed, Air University Commander Lt. Gen. James Hecker, and 42d Air Base Wing Commander Col. Eries Mentzer were on hand to welcome Biden to Maxwell.
