Never forget! Holm Center commander reflects on living through 9/11 Pentagon attack
In a show of support, an untold number of letters from across the country poured into the Pentagon in the weeks and months following the 9/11 attack there. Many of the letters and drawings, such as the one pictured, were displayed at the memorial service held at the Pentagon a month later to honor the 184 people killed in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack.
