Paratroopers from Bravo Troop, 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade set up antennas after draping winter camouflage over their Bandvagn 206 tracked vehicles in the harsh winter terrain of northern Norway during Exercise Joint Viking 17. Joint Viking 17 a combined exercise north of the Arctic Circle that tests Paratroopers' reconnaissance capabilities and lethality in extreme cold weather environments. The 173rd Airborne Brigade, based in Vicenza, Italy is the U.S. Army Contingency Response Force in Europe, capable of projecting forces to conduct the full range of military operations across the United States European, Central and Africa Commands areas of responsibility.
